Growlithe's Big Feeling | A Pokémon Adventure Story about Asking Why

From the podcast The Little Feather | Kids Stories for Big Feelings

·05:59
A gentle adventure for young children about what to do when a feeling gets too big. Elsie's Growlithe has the best nose in the whole valley, and he has promised to find the way home before the lamps come on. Then a Pidgey steals a berry, a sleeping Snorlax blocks the path, and the way home disappears into the tall grass. By the time Growlithe barks at Elsie - much louder than he meant to - the big feeling has grown far too big to carry. Chansey teaches Growlithe four questions to ask himself - Are you hungry? Are you angry? Are you lonely? Are you tired? - and they turn out to work on almost everything. No peril, no shouting, nothing scary, and kind at the end. The Little Feather tells original stories inspired by Pokémon - gentle stories about self-love, emotional regulation, boundaries, leadership, and gratitude. Written and told by Chris Shanku in his own voice. Every video is vetted and approved by Chris's five-year-old son. Pokémon in this story: Growlithe, Pidgey, Snorlax, Chansey and Mankey. The Little Feather is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company. #Pokemon #KidsStories #Growlithe #BigFeelings #Adventure
