When the Dog Barks

From the podcast Big Giant Book: Stories for Children

·11:59

What if animals could talk? What would they say? In this strolling story, we imagine what the animals might tell us if they could use words!

Rachel, Joey, and the acoustic guitar team up for our first-ever “song story” and it sure is some silly, lighthearted fun. After the story, Rachel discusses non-verbal communication and Joey leads us in a musical game focused on feelings.

At the end of the story, we have a mud-tastic Silly Story!

Would you like to send in a submission for next week’s Silly Story? Easy peasy! Please email sillystory@biggiantbook.com or connect with us on Instagram or Facebook to submit your child's responses (or class/family/group/inner child responses, too!)

Silly Story submissions:

    1. Feeling

     2. Color

     3. Silly Sound

This tale is part of our "Neighborhood" series. Other stories in this world include:
Mud Tea
Raccoon at Noon
Seeds
The Cat Likes That
The Acorn
