Lightning Bug Land

Let’s go on a little adventure! Summertime is the perfect time to search for Lightning Bug Land. Two children and their Dad borrow a tent and sleeping bags and head out to the special camping spot at their cousin’s house. They’re ready for a sparkling surprise!

After the story, sing along with Joey and Rachel to the full version of “The Lightning Bug Song” - the same tune that Dad whistles throughout the story. This is a fun campfire-type song that we created just for this special story!

We wrap up with a wild little Silly Story. Would you like to send in a submission for next week’s Silly Story? Easy peasy! Please email sillystory@biggiantbook.com or connect with us on Instagram or Facebook to submit your child's responses (or class/family/group/inner child responses, too!)

Silly Story submissions:

1. Animal

2. Number

3. Outside game
