Peppy's First Winter Olympics

Story Creation CONTEST!!

Ms. Adventure's Character Sticker CONTEST!

Check out Ms. Adventure’s Character Sticker Contest! If you’d like to enter, please send your entry to msadventurestreehouse@gmail.com OR send it through our Facebook page. Here are some things you need to know: 1) The deadline to send your entries is March 19th, 2023. 2) Please only draw one character, or at most two, not a whole scene. 3) Your drawings will look best if they’re colorful and dark, so use markers or crayons or paint. And if you choose to use colored pencils, make sure to press hard so your beautiful artwork can be seen. 4) Don’t worry about the size of your drawing. I can resize it to fit perfectly. But in the end, it will be small enough to fit on a page with other character stickers. 5) When you take a picture of your artwork, make sure there are no shadows over your beautiful drawing. 6) Have your adult send it to me so it can be entered into the contest. Please make sure to include which character you are sending, your name and your address so I can send you a sticker page if you win.

CONTEST - Treehouse Upgrade Design!

It’s contest time!!!  Our treehouse needs some renovation, and I was hoping you could help me with some ideas!

Olivia, a toddler Octopus, LOVES to play hide and seek with her Daddy in their deep blue ocean home.  But when she finds her lost toy and her friend stops by to play, she completely forgets that Daddy is hiding from her. What will happen when she remembers to find Daddy?  Join us in the treehouse to find out and to learn how God makes Himself “findable” when we search for Him with our whole hearts.

Trevor the Turtle comes for a visit to the treehouse! There’s just one problem: there’s no turtle-friendly entrance. I broke my leg and can’t get down and he can’t get up.  Will my friend’s submissions for the treehouse upgrade contest save the day and help Trevor get into the treehouse to meet me?  Join me to find out as we learn that there’s no way we can be close God on our own, but He made a way, the only way, for us to be close to Him through Jesus’ sacrifice!

Battle with the Cheeky Monkey

Jasmine, a sloth from Elo’s story, joins me in the treehouse to answer some of YOUR questions, and share a story with us about her chameleon friends Cornelius and Cara. 

When the chameleon family moves into Jasmine’s neighborhood, they find that an enemy has set up camp right outside their new home.  Every time they exit their bush, he attacks…with water balloons!  Each member of the family responds to this attack differently.  Will one of them be able to stand up to and stop the attack of the Cheeky Monkey?  Join me in the treehouse to find out, and to learn about the weapons God gave us to fight against our enemy, Satan.

CONTEST - Family Photo Scavenger Hunt

Our next contest is a photo scavenger hunt! 

If you’d like to join me, head to our ⁠Facebook⁠ or Instagram pages OR send me an email at msadventurestreehouse@gmail.com⁠ to grab a copy of our scavenger hunt list.  Then, see how many of the Ms. Adventure themed photo challenges you can accomplish with your camera or your phone.  There are up to 32 points to earn, some of which are bonus points. When your family has finished the scavenger hunt, message me through email or Facebook with how many points your family earned, AND send me a few of your favorite, creative photos.  The winner will be the family with the most points, and if there’s a tie, that will be decided by which family I think came up with the most creative photo.  The winning family will receive a special treehouse-themed prize!  I hope you’re as excited about this as I am!  I can’t wait to see some really fun photos, and I hope you have a fantastic time making memories together as a family.  The deadline to send your entry into the contest is Wednesday July 31st 2024.

Detective Dudley Doodle that we met in “The Case of the Missing Spots” joins us in the treehouse to answer some of YOUR questions and share a story with us about how he became a detective.  It all started when he noticed a leaf MARCHING along his back porch.  Come along with us and meet Dudley’s friend Andi, a tiny, worried ant, and learn about how we can trust Jesus, instead of worrying, because He is in control AND loves us very much.

Hannah's Cry

As Hannah experiences her very first day of life as a newborn baby OUTSIDE her Momma’s belly, she quickly realizes how good everything was INSIDE.  She misses the warmth, the quiet, the dark, and most of all, the VOICE that she had grown to love over the last nine months.  Somehow, she knows that that voice still wants to be close. Join me as we watch Hannah's journey to find the voice again, and we’ll learn how God DELIGHTS in His children in a way that we can’t fully comprehend. 

(While all of my stories are written for children, this one in particular might speak more tenderly to a mama’s heart.  If you’re a new mama or know one that needs to be reminded of God’s love for her, this is a great episode to listen to and share.)
