What happens when fruit tries to eat YOU, donuts can talk, and everything works backwards?

In this hilarious adventure from Lantern Hollow: Stories for Christian Kids, Dylan, Haddie, Ivy, Zoe, and baby Miles discover a mysterious glowing portal in their backyard. Before they know it, they’re sucked into the Silly World Realm— a strange place where the grass is blue, the sky is green, fish fly, birds swim, and talking donuts think you’re the weird one!

But things get even crazier when a GIANT STRAWBERRY decides the kids look like a delicious snack.

To escape, the whole family will need their superhero powers!

🦸 Mr. Anything — because he can do, well, just about anything.

🦸‍♀️ Super Haddie — because she can solve, well, just about anything.

👸 Princess Ivy — because with her super vision, she can see, well, just about anything.

🦆 Crazy ZoZo — who can turn people into ducks… although she’s still working on her aim.

👶 And Commander Baby — who can do, well… actually anything.

As the giant strawberry chases them through the Silly World Realm, each superhero gets a chance to use their special ability. But they soon discover that no single superhero can solve every problem alone.

This episode is one of our imaginative stories for Christian kids about teamwork, using the gifts God has given us, and recognizing that our different strengths can work together for good.

And just when everyone thinks they’ve run out of options…

Commander Baby steps in.

A huge storm rolls through Lantern Hollow — and suddenly, the lights go out!

When Mom asks Dylan to head upstairs to find the family’s flashlights, there’s just one problem: Dylan is afraid of the dark. The hallway looks different without the lights, every little noise sounds suspicious, and even Sampson sneaking by is enough to make Dylan jump!

Thankfully, Dylan doesn’t have to face the darkness alone. His big sister Haddie comes along — and for the first time, she discovers that she has a superhero identity of her own: Super Haddie!

Because while Mr. Anything can do, well, just about anything…

Super Haddie can solve, well, just about anything.

Together, Super Haddie uses her problem-solving skills to figure out where the flashlights might be, while Mr. Anything discovers an incredible new superpower: night vision!
