Albie and the Button Boat

Albie finds a grand brown coat button in the grass by Willow Pond and turns it into a tiny sailboat with a reed mast and a leaf sail. Grandma Rose hosts while Oliver tells his very first tale — of Tilly the harvest mouse, a slow voyage across the still water, and the good feeling of sailing a small friend home — perfect for drifting off to sleep.
