#429: What Can Jesus do with Seven Loaves? - Mark. Part. 28

Mark 8: 1-13  We continue our journey through Mark with the feeding of the four thousand. In a remote place with no way to purchase enough food, Jesus sees the hungry crowd and responds with compassion. Seven loaves and a few small fish could never feed thousands on their own—but Jesus is not limited by what his disciples have. Kids will compare this miracle with the feeding of the five thousand from episode 423, discover what was similar and different, and consider why the Pharisees continued asking Jesus for a sign after all he had done. This story reminds us that Jesus is compassionate and mighty.
