A Turkey for the Stuffing

A Turkey for the Stuffing is a short Thanksgiving story about Ben, a thin boy in patched clothes who lives with his grandmother beside a stormy river. While Ben gathers driftwood on the icy beach, a barge captain shouts a question across the water. One cheerful answer through a borrowed megaphone changes the day.
