The Debut of “Dan’l Webster”

In The Debut of "Dan'l Webster," farm boy Homer Tidd rents out his trained turkeys to a city market's Thanksgiving window show and earns three dollars a day. Then a worried telegram summons him back, and he finds the store in ruins and Dan'l Webster perched defiantly on a high shelf. With his anxious mother beside him, Homer must catch the rebel bird and decide whether his turkeys deserve a bigger stage.
