Maria Wood

Maria Wood is a fairy tale about a princess who must outwit a charming suitor who is, in truth, the devil in disguise. Armed with a fairy godmother's cunning plan, three breathtaking dresses woven from stars, moonbeams, and sunlight, and a hollow wooden disguise, Maria flees into a dark forest and begins a secret new life as a kitchen worker in a foreign king's palace. Hidden behind the appearance of an old woman, she must find a way to reveal her true identity before her chance at happiness disappears entirely.
