July 7 | Doing Hard Things When Nobody's Checking | Carpooling with Jesus Devotional for Kids

Hey Carpool Crew,

Every kid knows the temptation to do a job halfway when nobody's checking. Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin opens Colossians 3:23 and flips the whole thing around. The main person your kid is working for isn't a parent, coach, or teacher. It's God, and that changes even the boring stuff into something worth doing all the way.

This Tuesday episode hands kids three things to try this week: pick one job and do every part of it like it's for God, say one short prayer when they want to quit halfway, and ask the heart question, who am I really working for? About 5 minutes, kid-friendly, with a discussion question to land on together.

Today's One Thing: Do your work for God, even when no one is watching.

Scripture: Colossians 3:23 (CSB)
