The Ultimate Storyteller: Discover Canada Tours Director Ian McDonald Joins the Fray

Ever wondered what it’s like to go from a major rock radio producer to a secret casino spy, and finally to a world-traveling Canadian tour director?

Today, 9-year-old Fraser sits down with the ultimate storytelling wizard, Ian McDonald from Discover Canada Tours! Ian has truly done it all, and he’s unlocking his absolute wildest behind-the-scenes career secrets.

From navigating massive city vehicles to tracking down grizzly bears in the Canadian wilderness, this episode is jam packed with hilarious history, crazy facts about Vancouver BC and inspiring life lessons.

In this episode, Fraser and Ian dig into:

• Real-Life Secret Agent: What it’s actually like to sit in a room with hundreds of security cameras, scanning a 360-degree view to bust casino cheaters.
• The Puzzle of Big Buses: The secret physics to steering massive articulated "bendy" buses and school buses (plus what happens when you take on the Bus transit rodeo!).
• Bizarre Vancouver History: The shocking truth about Stanley Park's gray squirrels, why the city's first ambulance immediately ran over a tourist, and how a sneaky mayor faked having 104 streetcars.
• The Ultimate Travel Dare: Ian explains the legendary Yukon "Sour Toe Cocktail" and why being a great tourist means stepping directly out of your comfort zone.
