The Lorax (Dr. Seuss) [Kids Book Read Aloud]

Dad and voice actor, Patrick Vierzba, reads "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss. The Lorax tells the story of a grumpy creature named the Lorax who speaks for the trees. The Once-ler, a businessman, arrives in a beautiful valley filled with fluffy Truffula Trees. Captivated by their tufts, he chops one down to create a Thneed, a mysterious product everyone supposedly needs. The Lorax appears and warns the Once-ler about the destruction his actions will cause. However, the Once-ler ignores him, expands his Thneed-making business, and chops down more and more trees. This creates pollution and drives away the creatures who live in the forest.A colorful, rhyming, and fun cautionary tale about the dangers of greed and the importance of taking care of our environment. Here at DadReadsToYou, I read popular kids stories, and some stories you might not have heard before.
