The Tease

"The Tease" follows Edward, a boy who takes pleasure in finding others' tender spots — mocking classmates for patched clothes and tormenting his sister Grace by leaving her beloved rag doll Gracie stranded in a tree on a cold night. When Edward falls asleep, Gracie visits him in a dream — enormous, iron-rigid, hung with icicles — and turns his cruelty back on him. What she makes him feel in that dream quietly changes the course of who he becomes.
