The Best Dream

"The Best Dream" follows three groups of children who each ask the Dream-King for a different wish: wealth, fame, or a few beloved animals. That night, the Dream-King grants every group exactly what they desired. The rich children find themselves trapped in cold, untouchable luxury; the famous children are crushed by crowds and stone monuments they can never play with; but the children with their dogs and pony wake from a dream full of warmth and love. The contrast is quietly devastating.
