The Brave Mocking Bird

"The Brave Mocking Bird" follows Mitchell, a beloved pet mockingbird who has the run of a family home and can mimic voices and words. When a small fire begins creeping up a wall in the night, Mitchell tears through every bedroom screaming until the whole household wakes and douses the flames. As the exhausted bird finally closes his eyes, he speaks a word no one knew he could say — a quiet moment that carries the full weight of everything he risked to protect the people he loves.
