A Children’s Circus

"A Children's Circus" by Mary Graham Bonner captures the infectious energy of a group of children who organize a full parade and performance to raise money for their local hospital's children's ward. With a proud ringmaster, a croaking Frog-Child, a solemnly snack-eating Snake-Lady, and Turtle Babies retreating into paper shells, the backyard big top buzzes with creative chaos. The costumes are made almost entirely from paper, yet the audience erupts in laughter and admiration—proof that imagination outperforms any budget.
