Doctor Birds

"Doctor Birds" tells the story of Peter, a boy recovering from a long illness on a quiet sleeping porch far from home. Lonely for his friends, he finds unexpected company when a small bird lands on the ledge and sings to him. Peter begins feeding the birds each morning, and as their numbers grow — colors, songs, and all — so does his strength. The story captures how small moments of connection can quietly restore what medicine alone cannot.
