A Little Dog

"A Little Dog" tells the story of Soot, a small black dog whose morning run leads him to a terrifying sight: two girls struggling in a lake beside an overturned canoe. Too small to swim out himself, Soot races back to the village, barking frantically until men follow him to the water. Against the clock — the girls barely able to hold on — the rescue unfolds entirely because one small dog refused to give up on what he could do.
