The Christmas Dog

"The Christmas Dog" tells the story of Peggy, a warm-hearted girl who writes to Santa Claus asking for dolls and paints — but most earnestly for a dog her whole family can share. On Christmas morning, Peggy unwraps every gift she hoped for, yet notices one is missing. She bites back her disappointment and joins in the celebrations, until a faint whimper at the front door changes everything. The story captures the quiet ache of a child's hope and the unexpected way kindness finds its way home.
