Santa Claus’ Assistants

"Santa Claus' Assistants" is a cheerful Christmas poem that reveals the secret behind how Santa knows exactly what every child wants. Santa's young son races around the world in a tiny golden sleigh pulled by twenty white mice, peeking at worn toys and noting what boys need. His daughter dashes through the sky in a sleigh of frost, driven by a hundred snowflakes, checking girls' rooms for needed gifts. Together, they're Santa's watchful spies — and naughty children had better beware.
