The Christmas Sleigh-Ride

"The Christmas Sleigh-Ride" is a lively Christmas poem that follows a sleigh full of boys racing along the river road on Christmas Eve, guided by Uncle Jack and pulled by two horses through moonlit, snow-packed countryside. The bells chime, the boys cheer at every farmhouse, and even a lone hermit feels his frozen heart warm as they pass. The joyful noise delights villagers and farmers alike, until the sleigh finally rattles home through the farm-gate, rosy-cheeked and ready for Grandma's welcome.
