The Mouse and the Moonbeam

"The Mouse and the Moonbeam" is a lyrical Christmas Eve bedtime story in which a little mauve mouse frisks in the moonlight while an old clock listens. The mouse warns against doubting Santa Claus through the cautionary tale of her sister Squeaknibble, whose scepticism led to a tragic end. Then a moonbeam shares a vision of a hillside near Bethlehem, a shepherd boy named Dimas, and a night of angels and stars — a story that winds gently toward faith, forgiveness, and the meaning of Christmas.
