"The Fairy Christmas" tells the story of Toddy and Tita, two young sisters spending Christmas Day alone in their city home after a snowstorm delays their parents' train. To pass the time, they invent games — until they spot a barefoot Italian boy named Guido singing in the street for pennies. On impulse, they invite him in, share a feast, and find their own sadness lifting. When their parents finally arrive, the day has transformed into something unexpectedly warm — and Tita draws a quiet but powerful conclusion about loneliness and love.
