The Mouse and the Christmas Cake

The Mouse and the Christmas Cake follows Nib, a clever little mouse who sneaks past a sleeping cat into the pantry and discovers a magnificent Christmas cake shaped like Windsor Castle. She gnaws through the gothic door and moves into the turret, planning to feast at her leisure. On Christmas Day, when a houseful of merry children gathers to admire and cut the cake, Nib's hidden presence sets off shrieks, laughter, and pandemonium — before she makes a daring escape.
