The Vanity Of Annie

The Vanity Of Annie is a short children's story about a girl so consumed by her own reflection that she neglects everyone around her — her mother, her younger siblings, and her schoolmates. When a bold little elf appears on her dressing table and strips away her pretty face, replacing it with the cross, cold expression others truly see, Annie is forced to confront who she has become. The story follows her quietly determined effort to earn back not just her looks, but the warmth and friendship she never knew she was missing.
