The Owl And The Cat

The Owl and the Cat is a whimsical short story by Edward Lear, free to read online, following two devoted friends who sail away together in a pea-green boat. Armed with honey, money, and a small guitar, the Owl serenades the Cat beneath the stars — sparking a proposal and a quest for a wedding ring. Their search leads them to a mysterious land, a Piggy-wig with a ring on his nose, and a moonlit celebration that feels like pure enchantment.
