The Lonely Giant

The Lonely Giant is a short story about a family who wakes up to find their breakfast eaten and their toys disturbed by an unknown visitor. Determined to solve the mystery, the clever young son hides under the sofa and comes face to face with something enormous — a giant. Rather than fleeing in fear, the boy notices something unexpected: the giant isn't dangerous, just deeply alone. What the boy chooses to do next changes everything for his family and for the giant.
