The Penguin Huddle

The Penguin Huddle is a short story set in Antarctica, where a colony of penguins faces months of darkness and bitter cold after the sun vanishes from the sky. Playful days of swimming and sliding give way to loneliness and struggle — until a wise old penguin proposes a solution: form a rotating huddle so every penguin takes a turn sheltering the others from the freeze. The story follows the group as they learn to rely on one another, finding warmth not just in body heat, but in shared effort.
