Uncle Wiggily And The Little Lamb

"Uncle Wiggily and the Little Lamb" is a short story following Uncle Wiggily, an old gentleman rabbit, whose homemade airship malfunctions mid-flight and sends him tumbling toward the ground. A quick-thinking sheep directs a wool wagon beneath him, breaking his fall. When that same mamma sheep later cries out for her lost lamb — tangled helplessly in a briar bush — Uncle Wiggily takes to the skies to return the favor. The story turns on a single act of kindness that sets off a chain of gratitude between unlikely friends.
