Uncle Wiggily And The Wasp

Uncle Wiggily and the Wasp is a short children's story in which the kindly old rabbit Uncle Wiggily and his prickly travelling companion, the porcupine, settle down for a peaceful nap beneath cool ferns by a babbling brook — unaware that a stingery wasp and a hungry fox have hatched a cunning plan to use one against the other. The fox promises the wasp a popcorn ball in exchange for a sting to Uncle Wiggily's nose, hoping the shock will leave the rabbit helpless. Whether the porcupine wakes in time is the heart of this charming, suspenseful tale.
