Uncle Wiggily And The School Teacher

Uncle Wiggily And The School Teacher is a short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a cheerful old gentleman rabbit, as he drives his peculiar automobile — complete with a turnip steering wheel and bologna sausage tires — through the spring woods. Alongside the perpetually gloomy Mr. Caw-caw the crow, he discovers a lady mouse school teacher stranded with a thorn in her foot, racing against time to reach her waiting pupils before class begins.
