Uncle Wiggily And The Sunbeam

"Uncle Wiggily and the Sunbeam" follows Uncle Wiggily Longears, a kindly rabbit gentleman, as he discovers a woodland flower trapped beneath a heavy stone and unable to reach the light. After freeing the plant, a friendly sunbeam promises to repay the favour. When a sly fox later ambushes Uncle Wiggily on the forest path, demanding Nurse Jane's sugar and bread before carrying him off to his den, the sunbeam sees its chance — using a shiny yeast cake to dazzle the fox in a brilliantly simple act of rescue.
