Uncle Wiggily And Munchie Trot

Read "Uncle Wiggily and Munchie Trot" online for free — a short story by Howard R. Garis following elderly rabbit Uncle Wiggily and his companion, a red monkey, as they search the woods for a lost fortune. When Uncle Wiggily stumbles upon an injured squirrel boy, abandoned in the forest with night closing in, neither can walk well enough to reach safety. With wolves, owls, and a cloud of mosquitoes closing in, their only hope is Munchie Trot, a strong and fearless pony boy who gallops to the rescue.
