Uncle Wiggily And Buddy Pigg

Uncle Wiggily and Buddy Pigg is a short story following the old gentleman rabbit and his red monkey companion as they trek through the woods searching for fortune among the treetops. When the monkey's playful tossing of pine cones accidentally strikes a big black bear on his tender nose, the furious bear begins climbing after the monkey — and Uncle Wiggily is too frightened to help. Everything hinges on Buddy Pigg, a small guinea pig whose remarkable whistling trick may be the only thing standing between the monkey and a very hungry bear.
