Uncle Wiggily And Jennie

Uncle Wiggily and Jennie is a short story in which the wandering rabbit Uncle Wiggily and his companion Kittie Kat discover a tiny woodland house where the industrious Jennie Chipmunk quietly cares for an ailing old lady squirrel. When the three friends pitch in to clean, gather nuts, and share tea, the mood is warm and bustling — until a hungry fox appears at the door and traps them inside. Whether Jennie's clever trick with a dusting brush will send him running is the story's delightful turning point.
