Uncle Wiggily And Kittie Kat

Uncle Wiggily and Kittie Kat is a short story following old gentleman rabbit Uncle Wiggily as he hops through the woods alone, searching for his fortune before winter closes in. A midnight visit from a skillery-scalery alligator leaves him shaken, and by morning he is too dizzy and ill to even rise from his leaf bed. Stranded in a hollow stump with no one to help, his luck turns when a young cat girl named Kittie Kat happens past — and refuses to leave his side until he is well again.
