Uncle Wiggily And Tommie’s Kite

Uncle Wiggily and Tommie's Kite is a short children's story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman, and Tommie Kat, a young kitten, as they build and fly a bright red kite on a breezy summer day. While Tommie dashes home for more string, Uncle Wiggily dozes off — still holding the kite cord. He wakes to find the wind pulling hard and a mischievous baboon threatening to drag him away to its den. What happens when the baboon grabs the kite string may be the most satisfying gust of wind in the whole meadow.
