Uncle Wiggily Painted His Bungalow

Uncle Wiggily Painted His Bungalow is a free short story by Howard R. Garis in which the cheerful bunny gentleman climbs a ladder to paint his hollow stump bungalow sky blue pink — until a goat's prank with the wrong color paint and the sudden arrival of a skillery-scallery alligator turn the job into a wild adventure. With Uncle Wiggily trapped in a tree and the alligator's saw-like tail cutting it down, Billie, Jackie, and Peetie must think fast before their friend comes crashing to the ground.
