Uncle Wiggily And The Pie In The Snow

Uncle Wiggily and the Pie in the Snow is a lively short story in which Uncle Wiggily sets off to deliver a hot snow pudding to the ailing Mr. Bow Wow, joined along the way by his young sons Jackie and Peetie. What begins as a cheerful winter errand quickly turns into a gauntlet of trouble — a howling Wolf, a steam-burned Bob Cat, and a snow-blinded Alligator all stand between the friends and their destination. Each threat is defeated not by strength, but by quick thinking and a little luck.
