The Ice King

"The Ice King" is a short Native American legend about a village that suffers under the grip of a merciless winter giant who threatens to rule forever. When bitter cold and thick ice push the people to the edge of survival, one young warrior steps forward to challenge the tyrant — first with a club, then with fire and oil. The story builds through two tense confrontations, testing the young man's courage and resourcefulness against a powerful, supernatural enemy who holds the fate of the seasons in his icy hands.
