Uncle Wiggily And The Hazel Nuts

Uncle Wiggily and the Hazel Nuts is a short children's story where rabbit gentleman Uncle Wiggily joins young squirrel Johnnie Bushytail on a search for hazel nuts in the woods — until a growling bear pounces from behind a black stump, mistaken at first for their friend Neddie. With no bullets and no way to bluff the bear away, Johnnie turns to an unlikely ally: the hazel nut bush itself. What follows is a rattling, bung-banging showdown where quick thinking, a well-placed umbrella, and a bear's tender nose decide the day.
