Halloween Puppet Play

Halloween Puppet Play is a short story set on a moonlit hill where a Showman presents an eerie cast of puppets — a Witch, a Cat, a Jack-o'-Lantern, and a Brownie — on Halloween night. The Witch grows increasingly frustrated as she demands to know the true meaning of the holiday, only to receive evasive answers. When her patience finally snaps and she threatens to boil them all, the puppets reveal Halloween's ancient origins — Druids, sacred fires, and the rituals of October 31st — before a puppet named Knowledge arrives to bring the night to a joyful close.
