The Chestnut Boys

The Chestnut Boys is a short nature story that follows three tiny brothers sleeping inside a small green house while the world transforms around them. As autumn arrives, the Wind paints their home brown and the mischievous Jack Frost knocks louder and louder at their door, coaxing them out to play. When Mother Nature finally lets them go, the big world proves cold and overwhelming — and the brothers soon cry out for her comfort again. Told as a gentle riddle, the story builds quietly to a warm, satisfying reveal.
