Uncle Wiggily’s Thanksgiving

Uncle Wiggily's Thanksgiving is a short story following the ever-cheerful rabbit Uncle Wiggily, who sets out from his hollow stump bungalow with a basket of frosted cakes to give to anyone with something to be thankful for. Along the way he meets a sick pig, a goat with his head stuck in a fence, and a police dog who hasn't yet made his arrest — each finding their own unexpected reason for gratitude. But when the Woozie Wolf leaps out and seizes Uncle Wiggily by the paw, the bunny must think fast to find his own cause for thanksgiving.
