November Woods

November Woods is a short story set in an enchanted autumn forest where a tall girl named November oversees her colorful woodland helpers. Tree-boys stretch bare arms like branches, leaf-boys rustle in brown suits, bittersweet-girls burst with orange, and delicate snowflake-girls hint at winter's arrival. As November calls her workers together, she wonders whether they will be ready in time to make her month truly shine — and each group answers with songs and dances that fill the woods with unexpected warmth and color.
