The Christmas Stocking Adventure

The Christmas Stocking Adventure is a short children's story about eight neighbours — Mary, Esther, Lottie, Dorothy, Fred, Will, George, and Henry — who discover that a sick girl across the street may have no real Christmas. Each child contributes something personal: Will sews a bright red stocking, Lottie buys a tea-set with her dishwashing earnings, and George gives up his bob-sled savings for a box of paints. Together, they race against Christmas morning to deliver their stocking filled with love.
