The Moon Lady’s Daughter

The Moon Lady's Daughter is a fairy tale short story about a Queen who receives a miraculous gift — a baby girl born from moonlight, lent to her by the Moon Mother herself. The Princess grows into a beloved young woman, but her heart belongs to the gardener's son, a match her royal parents forbid. When her lover is locked in a tower, the Princess reaches out to the moon in despair — and the Moon Lady answers, offering a strange and bittersweet bargain neither of them can refuse.
