Grandmother Rabbit’s Story

"Grandmother Rabbit's Story" is a sweet children's short story about little Patty Rabbit, who grows frustrated that all her storybooks feature boy rabbits. When Grandmother Rabbit visits, she shares the tale of poor little Susie Rabbit — a girl who receives a handmade doll crafted from a carrot and lettuce leaves. Susie's love for her clever gift is tested by her hunger, and she makes a series of small, irresistible decisions that lead to a wonderfully inevitable ending.
