The Shadow Child

The Shadow Child is a fairy tale about stubborn Girl Goldy Locks, who refuses to go to bed despite her mother's wishes and the gentle pleading of fairy visitors — Whistling Wind, Raindrop Fairies, Star Fairies, and Moonlight Fairies. When none of them can sway her, a mysterious Shadow Child arrives and whisks her away to a realm where a thousand weeping mothers search for children who simply won't sleep. Tired, frightened, and nid-nodding with exhaustion, Goldy must decide if she is ready to go home — and change her ways.
